Talent & Engagement Manager
Chester / hybrid, full or part time.

About the role

A multi-faceted role encompassing many elements of the employee lifecycle from talent attraction and acquisition, through to engagement, training and development.

This is a role you can also make your own and further develop over time – using your particular set of skills to their best advantage!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Talent attraction & acquisition

  • End to end responsibility for recruitment into the business, delivering a seamless and proactive service to internal and external candidates and stakeholders.
  • With a focus on improving processes throughout you will be talent pooling, headhunting and advertising roles via various channels including social media platforms. As well as  screening and interviewing, you will negotiate offers through to successful acceptance and carrying out pre-boarding activities.
  • You’ll own and develop partnerships with our PSL and other third parties in order to improve brand awareness and our position as an Employer of Choice, enhance.

  • Ensuring a smooth transition from pre-boarding to on-boarding and induction, continually seeking to develop the programme and methods of delivery.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to source, recommend, create, facilitate and deliver training and development solutions across the business.
  • Reviewing and developing succession planning strategy and progression pathways in line with departmental and business wide plans.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues you will act as the people work stream lead for projects.

Results focussed, proactive and with a true love of working with people, you’ll thrive when working at pace and on your own initiative. An influential, persuasive and proactive communicator at all levels – your strong stakeholder management skills will be a key strength. Effectively able to collaborate at all levels you will want to achieve tangible results and change our people’s lives for the better.
